In the song "Slobodki" Mikhail Krug ironically describes the realities of a criminal district. The lyrical hero, addressing the listener, invites them for a walk around Slobodki, where his "cultured" buddies are supposedly waiting.

However, this "culture" turns out to be a sophisticated robbery. The hero sarcastically lists the "virtues" of the local thugs: they rob "shyly," "soulfully" leave you without a hat, and instead of rudeness, they use a "gentlemanly approach."

The further description of the victim writing a statement to the police and naively waiting for the return of their wallet enhances the ironic effect.

Krug ridicules not only the criminals themselves but also the victims who try to find excuses for the robbers, referring to their "intelligence" (tie, three-piece suit) and "culture."
